Jaguar Club of Houston Spring Fling

The event will be held in the La Grange/Round Top/Schulenburg area.

A block of rooms has been set aside at the Hampton Inn in La Grange. Special pricing can be obtained ($128/ night for 1 bed. $139/night for 2 beds) by calling the hotel directly at 979-968-4900 and stating you are part of the Jaguar club event.

FRIDAY

“Meet and Greet” in hotel conference room Beer, Wine, Sodas and Snacks will be provided

Dinner at Riverside Café, La Grange

They serve both Mexican and American dishes

SATURDAY

5 p.m. – 6 p.m. 6:30 p.m.

Breakfast is included at the hotel or members can go out on their own. Weikel’s Bakery is located 2 minutes from the hotel

Monument Hill State Historic Park

We will start the day by meeting at the park which is a 5-minute drive from our hotel.

9:30 a.m.

This is a beautiful property on the Colorado River with unique Texas history and original buildings.

A guide will lead us on a 30-minute easy walk. Members can additionally walk to see the Kreische Brewery which was the first commercial brewery in Texas

9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Drive to Painted Church #1 Drive to Round Top, TX

Sunday

11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. – Noon

1:30 p.m. – About 4 p.m.

Lunch choice at Popi Burger or Royers café. These restaurants are located close to one another and we have reservations at both for 20 people each. There other restaurants in the area if wanted.

Noon – 1:30 p.m.

Dinner at Sealand Seafood and Steak

(2-minute drive from our hotel)

Dinner is a fixed menu with choice of Fish, Chicken or Steak
