About the Event
BEFORE THE PARADE - The meeting location before parade; 7:15 AM, line up in the the parking lot in front of the Inwood Theatre, 5458 W Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX 75209 - The SE corner of the intersection of W Lovers Ln and Inwood Rd. We will queue up and head off to the parade as a group from there. We expect to pull out by 7:40 AM, if you miss us, proceed to the parade start point near the Highland Park Town Center
GOING TO THE PARADE - Then we'll pull out and queue up as the Jaguar club before 8:00 AM for the parade. The parade start point is located on the south side of Euclid Avenue east of the Highland Park Town Hall to be grouped together.
The Parade begins at 9:00 AM
Please RSVP as soon as possible so I can inform the parade organizers how many cars we'll have.
LUNCH - After the parade let's meet for lunch at the Sherlock's Baker Street Pub and Grill in Addison.
DECORATE YOUR CAR FOR THE 4TH OF JULY - Consider incorporating this year’s parade theme – United We Stand - in the decoration of your vehicle. If you have a club logo door sign please bring it to the parade and display it.
JOANT DOOR SIGN - If you have or want to have magnetic signs made for your car, please remember to bring them to support the club.
The signs should be simple, it's recommended it should magnetic, sized to fit your door with the club log, the name of the club Jaguar Owners Assoc. of North Texas and perhaps the clubs website. JOANT
CAR OVERHEATS - Remember, the parade moves at a slow pace and the weather maybe hot. If your Jag tends to overheats or have has starting issues, you may want to consider driving another car or ride with other club members.
