Driving Tour & Brunch

Our Meeting location is 985 E. Cleveland St. Hutchins TX 75141

This is a large distribution center like parking area with lots of staging room.

Our Departure time is 10:30 am.

We will take this morning to make a leisurely drive through some beautiful country roads south east of Dallas out to Forney, TX and our destination is Crumbzz European Bistro, which is owned by club member J. Stephen Sadler. The bistro has been taste tested and approved!! Stephen has some amazing stories about how his menu items are chosen and made and he will take a few minutes to tell his story while we are there! He also has a book published on his travels that is available for purchase.

Weather permitting, we will have reserved seating on the scenic patio. We have seating for 25 outside. ***Restaurant is BYOB, so bring your own champagne for mimosas, or bring other adult beverages. No corking fees.***

After brunch, we can take a brief walk and visit the shops next door and across the street. We will then head out to visit Lone Elm Whiskey – Five Points Distillery in Forney, just a few miles from the Bistro, for a tour of the distillery and a tasting of their whiskey selection. There is a $10 per person fee for the tasting and it is payable upon arrival. We should arrive at the distillery around 2:30pm.

There is a second option of antique store visits for those not interested in the distillery tour. Maps will be available that will guide you to some local antique stores.

Printed driving directions will be handed out at the meet up location and we will also be able to GPS using Google Maps if you would like.

Please arrive by 10am, we will have a drivers meeting at 10:15am and depart at 10:30 am to make our reservation time.

There is a gas station close by the meet up location and a Whataburger and Jack in the Box if you need to get coffee and fill up on gas before arrival.
